Benavidez pierced  Torres’ forehead with his elbow. Then Benavidez made Torres  tap using a guillotine choke. Torres had to get stiched up  to repair the wound, and wound up posting this vid.

Joseph Benavidez not only pulled the upset over Miguel Torres, but he was the top earner, according to salaries reported to the Ohio athletic commission for Saturday’s WEC 47 in Columbus.

The Ohio Athletic Commission  issued its list of medical suspensions for the fighers who participated at WEC 47: “Bowles vs. Cruz

Here is the complete list of suspensions:
Brian Bowles: Suspended indefinitely (hand injury) unless cleared by an orthopedic doctor.
Miguel Torres: Suspended indefinitely (forehead laceration) unless cleared by a surgeon.
Chad Mendes: Suspended sixty days (cut).
Danny Castillo: Suspended [...]
